The Horns of Odin oversize tee in Black is an oversized boxy men's t-shirt featuring our iconic "Horns of Odin" logo embroidered on the left breast. This premium tee is made from 100% high quality heavyweight cotton.
What is the "Triple Horns of Odin"?
Our logo is our own interpretation of the Viking Age symbol known as the "Triple Horns of Odin" (also referred to as the "Horn triskellion") which can be found carved on a number of items including picture stones found in Sweden.
It is believed to represent the story in which Odin obtains the mead of poetry (skáldskaparmjöðr), which was made from the blood of the god Kvasir. He accomplished this by bargaining three nights with the giantess Gunnlöð in exchange for three sips of the mead. However, with each sip, he drank a whole horn. Since the three horns, named Óðrœrir, Boðn and Són, contained all of the mead, Odin had obtained the whole amount and fled in the shape of an eagle.
