Rune Shield Cuff (Elder Futhark)

Handmade adjustable cuff etched with a single Norse rune. Each rune has its own meaning, so please refer to our "Rune guide" sheet to order the one most suited to you.

Not all runes have positive meanings, so please choose carefully from our "Rune guide sheet",; available in the images. If there is a rune not featured that you would like or a personal bind rune, please send us a message along with your order, and we will take care of that for you.

We use both the Elder and Younger Futhark runes. The Elder Futhark is the oldest form of runic alphabets and was used by the northern Germanic tribes during their migration period north, right up until 800 CE. During the late 9th century, the Elder Futhark was simplified by the Scandinavians to create the Younger Futhark and cut from 24 runes to just 16.

Although these cuffs are adjustable, different sizes are available. Please leave a note when ordering as to the preferred size. If no size is chosen we will email you , if we have no reply within 1 week of the email , then Standard will automatically be sent.

Size: Cuffs 

Small: 14cm (approx 5.5 inches) metal length plus up to 2.5cm (1-inch gap)

Standard: 16cm (approx 6.3 inches) metal length plus up to 2.5cm (1-inch gap)

Large: 18cm (approx 7 inches) metal length plus up to 2.5cm (1-inch gap)

Extra Large: 20cm (approx 7.9 inches) metal length plus up to 2.5cm (1-inch gap)

All our jewellery is handmade in the U.K using the highest quality material available. Please be aware that it is all handmade to order by our local jeweller so there is a production time once the order has been placed.

Any customs fee's that may occur with items sent to Europe are payable by the customer.
