These beautiful pieces are created through using ethically sourced goat skin, and hand bent birch frames, each drum is hand crafted and painted by Leofirc Designs, ensuring the animal is respected throughout the creation of the instrument.
Through using both goatskin for the lacing and head, each drum offers a rich, bouncy tone,
Each hand painted design is inspired by the ancient art of our ancestors. This original design is from an 8th Century bronze helmet plate found as part of the Vendel 1 grave site.
Every drum includes a hand whittled beater, with goatskin head-enabling you to get the full range of tones from your drum.
