Vegvisir Soft Belt Bag
This new and improved soft belt bag has been hand-embossed with a Vegvisir pattern on the lid. It has a large leather loop to wear on thick and thin belts. The body of the pouch is made of soft leather and closes with a horn toggle and string clasp. Available in brown and tan & black.
Vegvisir (Icelandic: Vegvísir, “That Which Shows the Way”) - The vegvisir is an Icelandic stave, which is thought to guide the bearer through rough seas. There is very little known about the symbol; however, the Huld manuscript states, “If this sign is carried, one will never lose one’s way in storms or bad weather, even when the way is not known.”

All of our leatherwork is handmade in the UK by our expert leathersmith, exclusively for Horns of Odin. We use vegetable tan leather, which would have been used during the Viking age, to give our products that authentic feel. Please be aware that as they are all completely handmade, products may differ slightly from the pictures.
