Who is the "Breaker of Chains"?
The Norse Mythology aficionados amongst you will already know that "The Breaker of Chains" is in fact a kenning (an expression with a metaphorical meaning) for Fenrir, and wherever you find Fenrir, Tyr's hand is never far behind! Other kennings include; "Beast of Slaughter", "Bane of the High God" and "The Second Greif of Frigg". It is prophesied in Voluspa that Fenrir will break free from his chains and in turn trigger the start of Ragnarok. It is here where the beast will wreak havoc across Midgard before devouring Odin.
