By popular demand, our McM Comic Con exclusive tee has now hit our website!! This beautiful design features a Nordic Mythology x Anime mash-up featuring the Goddess of War herself, Freya. We worked closely with Anime artist Jeqqi to create a design that embodies both styles. These are very limited!
Freya can be looked at as one of the warrior gods, though she is often over-shadowed by the likes of Tyr, Thor and Odin. Yet, it's possible that she is the MOST important of the "Gods of War". Freya presides over the meadow Folkvanger, where she welcomes half of all warriors that fall in battle. Interestingly, she not only takes half of the warriors, it is believed that she has first choice of the fallen, before even Odin and Valhalla.
Freya's battle-worn shield and sword are featured on the left breast.
The T-shirt is made from 100% Organic cotton, and the designs are masterfully printed to the highest quality. Unisex.
