Viking Pocket Knife

These Viking knives have been beautifully hand forged using carbon steel to achieve the iconic shape associated with this style of knife, according to finds throughout Viking Age Scandinavia and Britain. This small knife is perfect to fit in your pocket, or even be worn around the neck.

The tang has been drawn out and bent back on itself to create a sturdy integral handle, which features a twist for added grip. The end of the handle has been curled back to create a finger guard. The knife has been finished with our signature beeswax and linseed oil blend, which helps protect, aids in grip and enhances the natural colouring. The sheath has been sewn by hand and houses the knife snugly.

These are an attempt to recreate what likely would have been used in the Viking Age. Knifes based on this shape have been used for thousands of years, particularly across Northern Europe.
