Thorsonns Workshop makes these beautiful candle sconces from reclaimed wood with a carved Vegvisir motif.
Holds a single tea light and is available single or as a pair with a Helm of Awe and a Vegvisir Candle Holder in the same colour.
Please note that each is completely handmade so it may differ from the product pictures.
Vegvisir (Icelandic: Vegvísir, “That Which Shows the Way”) - The vegvisir is an Icelandic stave thought to guide the bearer through rough seas. Very little is known about the symbol; however, the Huld manuscript states, “If this sign is carried, one will never lose one’s way in storms or bad weather, even when the way is unknown.”
